The WOW! program “Wide Open to the World!" is responsible for developing and applying the CAP 20-25 project’s international strategy. To do so, it has created a steering committee representing the actors present at the site for the program:

  • Valérie Livrelli, manager of the WOW! program
  • Camille Arnaud (CAP 20-25 international strategy)
  • Anne Garrait-Bourrier (Vice-President International Relations, UCA)
  • Sabrina Juarez (Scientific Coordinator IMobS3 Laboratory of Excellence, Challenge 2)
  • Alain Kondjoyan (DR INRA)
  • Stéphanie Lamaison (Director of International Relations, UCA)
  • Gilles Mailhot (CNRS Researcher, Challenge 1)
  • Hélène Mazaleyrat (Director of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Regional Council)
  • Olivier Roche (IRD Researcher, Challenge 4)
  • Gabriela Sinoquet (Directorate of partnership and international relations, VetAgro Sup)
  • Virginie Squizzato (Directorate of Higher Education Research & Innovation, Clermont Auvergne Métropole)
  • David Turner (Manager of International Relations, SIGMA)

The strategy is defined according to CAP 20-25 issues and topics, and is therefore based on the scientific Challenges and on the mixed or shared laboratories.

It is based on strengths and existing measures and its objectives are to promote and increase the international attractiveness of the Clermont Auvergne site. It will involve:

  • making UCA an international university (vis-à-vis our community, national and international partners)
  • internationalizing research and innovation in connection with the CAP 20-25 scientific challenges and the concept of lifestyles and sustainable development
  • internationalizing the education programs by better integrating the training/research partnerships
  • developing strategic partnerships with universities of excellence with compatible profiles
  • developing outgoing mobility of students, teachers/researchers and all members of the community
  • improving incoming mobility and hosting
  • developing internal and external communication (by leading the political and functional network, creating and assisting projects)
