Join us! A tenure-track junior professor position is open

The Institut de Recherche sur le Développement (the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development) recruits several junior professor positions.

The successful candidate for the tenure-track junior professor position "Socioeconomic analysis of disasters in the South" will be appointed at the CERDI, a joint unit of the IRD, CNRS and Université Clermont Auvergne. The recruitment date for the chair is set for December 1, 2024.

The selected candidate will focus their research on the socioeconomic analysis of disasters in the South. The ISite CAP 20-The ISite CAP 20-25, a research program of the Université Clermont Auvergne, funds this research in the framework of the "International Research Center of Disaster Science and Sustainable Development" and the Labex IDGM+.

The appointed candidate will study the economic repercussions of natural disasters and will cooperate with our local research partners. They will contribute a maximum of 28 hours of teaching per year in the International Development Graduate Track (IDGT).
