For its 2024 Call for Proposals (CFP), the International Research Centre for Sustainable Agroecosystems (IRC-SAE) sought to align its various CFPs. Although the CFPs were grouped together, the evaluation of the proposals to individual  CFP was carried out within each respective axis by the axis coordinators, with support of their respective boards, in accordance to the procedures that had been established in 2023. The mission of the IRC-SAE was to fund new and original projects that were in line with the priorities set out in the IRC-SAE project, took into account the elements of the site's scientific policy (leverage effect) and met one or more of the following criteria: frontier science, at interfaces, breakthrough with risk-taking, interdisciplinary, collaboration involving several units on the site, international collaboration. Any project that constitutes an extension of a project that has already been funded by the IRC-SAE will be assessed as a new project. In such case, it is essential that the project demonstrates its innovative nature.

The followingtable summarises the projects that were submitted in response to the 2024 call for proposals. In yellow, the projects selected for funding by the Axis offices or the COPIL. In orange, projects for which the funding requested for the extension of the thesis have not been validated. In white, projects not selected for funding:
